Fox Point Ice Rink and Warming House Reopens in 2025

Ice rink in Fox Point, Wisconsin

The Fox Point ice rink is open from December to February, weather permitting

Update: The village of Fox Point will no longer actively treat the ice and the warming house will close for the season as of February 24. See you next winter!

Fox Point village announced that the ice rink warming house will reopen on Thursday, February 13, and remain open through Sunday, February 16.  The Fox Point ice rink is located at 7343 N Longacre Rd, and is open from December to February, weather permitting.

Warmer temperatures over the last two weeks have caused undesirable skating conditions in certain areas of the ice rink, and DPW staff have coned off those areas and will attempt to recondition the entire sheet of ice. Please remain out of these identified areas at this time.

Due to the Spring Primary Election, the warming house will temporarily close on February 17 and 18. The long-range forecast indicates temperatures may remain low into next week, allowing for ice rink use.

If weather allows, Staff plan to reopen the warming house again on February 19. Village Staff monitor the weather and ice conditions daily and will send notifications if there are changes in operations.

Hockey is only permitted on the west side of the rink in the designated hockey area. Please respect all visitors and follow posted signage to ensure a safe experience for everyone.

The ice rink is not available for private rentals. However, guests may use the back area of the pavilion for small gatherings. Visitors are responsible for cleanup. Please check with on-site staff for guidance on event setup.

What are the Fox Point ice rink hours?

Regular Hours of Operation are as follows: Monday through Friday 3:30 pm to 9 pm; Saturday 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday noon to 9 pm.

See our ice rink guide for more options in the north shore area for skating and hockey.
