Explore the Bayside Passport to Sustainability
This program is filled with sustainable and environmentally friendly activities, designed for participants of all ages.
Looking for a family-friendly adventure that’s good for the planet and packed with meaningful activities? The Village of Bayside’s Passport to Sustainability is a creative, community-wide initiative designed to get families outside, learning, exploring, and making a difference—one eco-friendly step at a time.
The Passport program makes sustainable living approachable and rewarding. Families can earn points by completing a wide range of environmentally focused activities—everything from adopting a storm drain to geocaching at the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center.
Each activity comes with a point value, and as you complete more challenges, you move up passport tiers—Bronze (10 points), Silver (20), Gold (35), and Platinum (50). Even better? There’s no deadline, and new activities are added throughout the year, making this a long-term invitation to build sustainable habits.
