Metro Market is giving North Shore shoppers an easy way to enjoy Summerfest 2025 for free. Here’s everything you need to know—plus every Metro Market location in the North Shore where you can take advantage of the deal.

How the promotion works

Here’s how the Summerfest promotion works: Spend $50 or more in a single transaction with your Metro Market (Kroger) Rewards Card between April 23 and May 13, 2025. You get 4 FREE Summerfest tickets good for Throwback Thursday, June 26 (12 pm – 6 pm).

*Limit: three offers per transaction (max 12 tickets).
*Exclusions: alcohol, tobacco, other tickets, store gift cards, pharmacy and service-counter items.
*Redemption: the offer prints at the bottom of your receipt—bring that receipt to any Summerfest ticket window only on June 26 between noon and 6 pm to swap it for tickets.

What’s happening on Throwback Thursday?

Summerfest’s Throwback Thursday celebrates music through the decades with acts such as Freddy Jones Band, The Romantics, The Summer Set, and others. See the full Summerfest line-up.

Gates open at noon; your free ticket gets you in until 6 pm, but once you’re in you can stay all night.

Quick tips to make sure you get the tickets

• Combine errands: Plan a larger grocery run instead of several small trips so you clear the $50 threshold in one transaction.

• Use one payment: Splitting a purchase over two transactions will not qualify—you need $50+ on a single receipt.

• Double-check the receipt: Before leaving the store, verify that the Summerfest offer printed at the bottom. If it didn’t, visit customer service immediately.

• Redeem early on June 26: Ticket-window lines grow as the afternoon goes on. Arrive close to noon for the fastest swap.

• Invite friends or family: With up to 12 tickets per qualifying transaction, it’s easy to bring a whole crew.
