The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center in Whitefish Bay is gearing up with summer camps and programs perfect for North Shore families seeking adventure, community and fun.
Member registration opens Monday, March 10, 2025, and community registration opens March 17, 2025.
The JCC offers a variety of enriching summer experiences for children of all ages, from toddlers to teens, ensuring there's something for every family member. Here are some highlights:
Albert & Ann Deshur JCC Rainbow Day Camp Set on 110 adventurous acres in Fredonia, this traditional day camp offers a unique and engaging environment for children entering K4 through 9th grade. With daily bus transportation from North Shore Milwaukee, campers can explore, grow, and create lasting friendships in an inclusive setting informed by Jewish values. Families can choose from multiple sessions and even a special kickoff week to ease into summer fun.
Morning Rec Camp at the JCC Ideal for kids entering K5 to 2nd grade, this half-day camp runs weekly themes like Imagination Creation, Ultimate Ninja, Creativity in the Kitchen, Slimy Science, Sports of All Sorts, and Lego Mania. It's a fantastic way to add structure to your child's summer mornings, complete with swimming, STEAM activities, gym games, and exciting Friday field trips.
August Specialty Camps Looking to wrap up summer with specialized fun? The JCC offers specialty camps featuring partnerships with Play Hard Hoops Basketball, Pink Umbrella Theater Company (acting and character creation), and Solar Recreation Sports. These week-long, full-day camps run August 18-22 and August 25-29, providing dynamic experiences tailored to different age groups and interests.
Additionally, the JCC provides plenty of family-friendly experiences throughout the season, including adaptive aquatics programs, inclusive sports lessons, and community-building events like Shavuot with the Chinooks at Kapco Park.
